Installing DUT Power Supplies

Middle 6634A/B DUT Supply Installation

NOTE

If two 6634A/Bs (E4034A) are to be installed,

install the face down power supply nearest the

cradle first. Access to the face down supply is not

possible after the middle 6634A/B is installed.

The middle 6634A/B is installed first, if there is

only one 6634A/B in the system, to improve

access to the front panel.

1 If you have not already done so, using a #2 Pozidriv

screwdriver remove power supply mounting bracket

#1, shown in

Figure 14 on page 36, from power

supply mounting bracket #2.

2 Using a #2 Pozidriv screwdriver, remove the screw

nearest the ac power plug. It is on the side of the

6634A/B where there is not a handle. This is the side

that will mount next to the bottom of the pod.

3 Using a #20 Torx driver, remove the mounting

bracket from the cradle DUT mounting support,

shown in

Figure 15. Attach the bracket to the

6634A/B using the mounting screw removed in

step 1. The mounting bracket should be oriented as

shown in

Figure 15.

4 Mount the rack mount ear on the front of the

6634A/B on the front of the power supply on the side

with no handle. The other rack mount ear included in

the kit will not be used.
