Power Cable Connections to the Vehicle
1 Attach the ring terminal of the black lead to chassis ground
using the appropriate hardware. Ensure that a good
mechanical and electrical connection has been made to the
chassis, then coat the connection with anti-corrosive spray.
2 Connect the red lead to the battery positive (+) terminal.
3 Connect the ignition sense lead as described under “Ignition
Sense Lead" on page 216.
4 When installation is complete, secure any loose wires with
wire ties.
5 Route the cable through the vehicle to where the E6473B is
installed.
