Head Assembly
WARNING Never start the pump when the pump head is removed. This may
damage the pump drive.
When required Exchanging the seals
Exchanging the plungers
Exchanging seals of the seal wash option
Tools required Wrench 1/4 inch
4-mm hexagonal key
Preparations for this
procedure
Switch off quaternary pump at the main power switch
1 Disconnect all capillaries and tubes from the
pump head and disconnect the active inlet
valve cable.
2 Using a 4-mm hexagonal key stepwise
loosen and remove the two pump head
screws and remove the pump head from the
pump drive.
