2 Network Testing with the FrameScope Pro
To perform the test, follow the procedure below.
1 Press Performance Tests on the Tools screen and select Packet
Error Rate Test.
2 Optional: If you want to save the current PERT suite or
retrieve a previously stored suite, press Suite. You have two
options to choose from:
Option 1: Select Create New if you want to create and save a
new test suite. You will be prompted to type in a new name.
Option 2: Select Load Selected to choose a stored suite from the
list. You can select <Default> to reload the default suite.
3 The initial screen allows you to type in the destination
device, frame length, frame rate (in frames/s), and utilization
(in percentage). You can also choose to run the test
continuously or just for a specified time range.
For the destination device, you have two choices on how to
search for the device.
