Static reference sensitivity level
Purpose of measurements—what it proves
Sensitivity is the most significant in-channel receiver test. The sensitivity test
proves that the receiver can receive, demodulate, and decode a very low-level
signal. Every base station manufacturer does this test. This test also proves
adjacent time slot rejection. The two adjacent time slots are required to have a
50 dB level above the time slot under test.
