6 U3606B User’s Guide
NOTE
• For subsequent power cycles, the U3606B returns to the last power-off state by
default. You can change this behavior in the Utility menu.
• If the self-test is unsuccessful, Error is displayed on the right side of the display. Press
[Shift] > [Utility] to read the error number in the Utility menu.
• A more extensive self-test is also available from the Utility menu.
Push the power switch to turn on the instrument.
The front-panel display illuminates while the U3606B
performs its power-on self-test.

• DC voltage measurement function with autoranging enabled, and
• Constant voltage (CV) operation with the output disabled (on standby).
