Conﬁ guration Guide

Introduction

This document provides conﬁ guration information for the Agilent Acqiris

U1065A 10-bit cPCI high-speed digitizers.

Required selections

Channel count

Instructions: Select the required number of channels. Chan-

nels can be interleaved to achieve maximum sample rate.

U1065A-001 One channel, 8 GS/s, 1024 kSamples, DC222

U1065A-002 Dual channel, 4-8 GS/s, 512-1024 kSamples, DC252

U1065A-004 Quad channel, 2-8 GS/s, 256-1024 kSamples, DC282

Front-end

performance

Instructions: Select the required front end. One front end is

required per input channel of the card (1, 2, or 4). U1065A–

FHF is not compatible with the DC282 conﬁ guration.

U1065A–FHZ is only compatible with the DC282 conﬁ gura-

tion without memory extension.

U1065A-F50 50 Ω, 2 GHz front-end

U1065A-FHF 50 Ω, 3 GHz front-end

U1065A-FHZ 50 Ω/1 MΩ, 1 GHz/300 MHz front-end

Input connector

types

Instructions: Select the required connector type for the

input channels, and the trigger input. Five connectors are

required per DC282 (5 input + 1 trigger), Three connectors

per DC252 (2 input + 1 trigger), and two connectors per

DC222 (1 input + 1 trigger).
